Dr Antonia Laino is a dermatologist with experience in both clinical practice and academic research.  Originally from New York, Antonia moved to Queensland for medical school and graduated from the University of Queensland in 2012 with her MBBS.  Antonia has completed her dermatology training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, and The Queensland Institute of Dermatology. As part of her dermatology training, she also spent a year at the National Skin Centre in Singapore, and undertook an elective dermatology term at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Additionally, Antonia has worked extensively in dermatology research at the Translational Research Institute at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and published research in international dermatology journals.

Antonia’s areas of interest include acne, eczema, rosacea, psoriasis, and skin cancer.

When not at work, Antonia enjoys spending time with her husband, baby, and two rescue dogs.
